About Ronda Day

Ronda began her real estate career in 1985 with a large brokerage firm in the Silicon Valley Area selling real estate from Atherton to Los Gatos (including other cities such as Palo Alto, Portola Valley, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Cupertino, San Jose, Saratoga in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties).  She earned the company's distinction as Senior Marketing Consultant and Corporate Relocations Specialist, as well as, received the GRI (Graduate Realtor's Institute) designation.  Within three years, she ranked in the top 20 of the Los Altos Board of Realtors.  She joined the Honolulu Board of Realtors in 2005.  She also received her RECS (real estate cyberspace specialist) designation in 2007.

Ronda received the Hawaii Real Estate industry's prestigious 2006 Aloha Aina People's Choice Award because of her patience, diligence, and client education of housing trends and creative financing alternatives and after closing (recordation of the sale) customer service.  Sponsored by the Honolulu Board of Realtors, First Hawaiian Bank and the Honolulu Advertiser, this award is coveted by realtors because clients nominate Realtors and peers select from the nominees.  This award was given to a select five amongst the Honolulu Board of Realtors 5000+ membership.

While she doesn't specialize in a specific neighborhood, she specializes in Luxury Condominiums and Homes, as well as, military relocation.  Ronda finds working the small island of Oahu aids in better observation of the move-up or move-down trends and market demand.  She works well with a team of professionals on the Big Island, Kauai and on Maui to help her clients with their vacation homes.  She works with a team of agents on Oahu who speak Japanese, Korean, Chinese or Polish to help with clients from different countries.

Ronda's inventory knowledge, staging services, and marketing skills helps sellers or landlords increase their investment value.  She also receives word-of-mouth referrals because of her mortgage banking and brokering experience.  She helps buyer's find their dream home or ideal renovation project.

A local girl, Ronda has lived in several charming Oahu towns.  She enjoyed Kailua as a child and remembers the tightknit neighborhood community as well as the weekend family gatherings at her grandmother's Lanikai beach home.  She also lived in Kaimuki on Maunalani Heights.  A favorite memory was waiting for the giant jinglebells to be strung up and down Waialae Avenue, which signaled the coming of the annual Christmas parade.  The parade tradition still lives today thanks to the Kaimuki Business Professional Association and many volunteers.  Today, she resides in Manoa...a charming college town neighborhood with graceful trees and historic homes.  You can still find her wandering her old stomping grounds as well as in the eclectic Chinatown adjacent to Honolulu downtown, the developing town of Liliha, Ala Moana-Kakaako and of course Waikiki, as she looks for eateries and artistic finds!

In her free time, Ronda helps the Asian Real Estate Association of America with marketing, publicity and events.

Ronda Ching Day receives word of mouth referrals from first-time buyers, luxury home clients and community leaders because of her dedication to each client.  Ronda has helped find homeowners down payment assistance programs (grant monies and low interest loans).  Her clients also ask her to help them find investment properties, second homes, or their dream retirement home.

Ronda's mortgage banking and brokering experience are particularly helpful in this "subprime" climate because she can help find niche financing products through her financing network.  She has worked on loan modifications for clients.  Clients, lenders or bankers also appreciate this background because she understands their client's particular needs or situation and can quickly adapt with property search characteristics based on the changing underwriting requirements.

If you know someone who is realizing that the
y may have trouble making their mortgage payments, please have them call Ronda for a consultation.
